This week, Lawline9 turns 18 years old and continues to be a popular community program with more than 7,500 calls received each year. Approximately 200 volunteer attorneys staff this event every Wednesday evening and on special occasions. Metro Volunteer Lawyers needs an attorney to help a client get his car title. The client purchased a car in April and lost the title before he transferred it to himself. He contacted the original owner to request a duplicate title; however, he hasn’t received any cooperation from the previous owner. The DBA Awards Committee seeks nominations for the following awards: DBA Award of Merit, DBA Volunteer Lawyer of the Year, DBA Young Lawyer of the Year and Judicial Excellence. *** Temporary Relocation of the Colorado Supreme Court Library
On Monday, April 19, the Colorado Supreme Court Library will makes its temporary move to the first floor of the Denver Newspaper Agency building, located at 101 West Colfax Avenue. The library will occupy that space for approximately three years, until the Ralph L. Carr Justice Complex opens in 2013 on the block between 13th and 14th Avenues, bounded by Lincoln and Broadway streets. For details, click here.
