HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

*** Let the Attorney General battle begin
Don’t miss the first debate between the candidates for Colorado Attorney General — Incumbent Republican Colorado Attorney General John Suthers and Democratic challenger, 20th Judicial District D.A. Stan Garnett at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2 at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. The debate will be moderated by Aaron Harber, host of “Colorado Election 2010.” Space is very limited. This event is being recorded for statewide television broadcast on “Colorado Election 2010.” Click here for important RSVP information.

*** CLE: Intellectual Property Fundamentals Program, May 20
Get up to speed on IP fundamentals in time to join your colleagues for the IP & Technology Institute, June 3-4.

*** Give back to our military — help with civil issues
The ABA Military Pro Bono Project needs CBA members to lend a hand to our military personnel and their families in recognition of the sacrifices they make for this country. Visit www.militaryprobono.org to learn more about the project and to see a list of cases currently in need of pro bono assistance. Also, sign up to be on the volunteer roster to get notices of when service members in your geographic and substantive practice areas need assistance. Signing up does not obligate you to take any particular case.

*** CLHL Launches Confidential Statewide Telephone Peer Support Group
In addition to the peer support groups offered in the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado Lawyers Helping Lawyers now provides a confidential, professionally facilitated telephone peer support group that can be accessed from anywhere in the state. A Peer Support Group is designed to offer participants an opportunity to share personal and professional issues tied to the practice of law. The conference calls take place the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. Contact Caitlin Kozicki at PAS at ckozicki@peerassist.org. All calls will be handled in the strictest confidence.
