A Leak in the Pipeline: Retaining Women in the Practice of Law, April 5
For years women have represented more than 40 percent of law school graduates-the pipeline of legal talent for law firms. You'd expect to find similar percentages at the associate and partner levels of law firms, but that's not the case. Where are the women going, and why? Why should law firms care? What can they do to stop the sluggish advancement and increase the engagement and retention of women? Panelists Caroline Turner, Principal, DifferenceWORKS, LLC; David Crandall, Partner, Holland & Hart; and Anika Warren, Senior Director of Research, Catalyst, will address these questions. The program will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on the 32nd Floor Lounge at Holland & Hart LLP, 555 17th St. CLE credits have been applied for. There is no charge to attend, but please register by April 1, because space is limited! Click here for more information.

Golfers Get Ready! 2011 Henry Hall Memorial Golf Tournament, June 6
The Henry Hall Memorial Golf Tournament is June 6 at the Inverness Golf Club with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. One of the only semi-private golf courses in the Denver area, this Preston Maxwell championship course is beautiful, playable, and challenging. It requires strategy and a thoughtful approach, thanks to gentle but unforgiving slopes, rolling hills, and deep bunkers. Our golf course’s par-3 holes test the precision of even the best golfers. This superb par-70, that is 7,026 yard PGA championship golf course has been ranked among Colorado's finest golf resorts. Questions? Contact Alexa Drago at adrago@cobar.org or 303-824-5313.
