The Denver Bar Association is now accepting 2012 Colorado Legal Directory Attorney and Firm Listing Verifications, Updates, and Upgrades
The Denver Bar Association has taken over the production of the Colorado Legal Directory. To decrease costs and increase efficiency, we will collect all verifications and changes to your printed listing through our website. Please take the time to verify the information for your free listing in the 2012 edition of the Colorado Legal Directory, which is scheduled to be printed in November 2011.
  • Click here or go to www.cobar.org and click on Colorado Legal Directory on the left-hand side of the page to log in and verify your listing.
  • If you are not a CBA member, simply enter all your information.
  • When viewing your record, for a small fee you will be given opportunities to choose fields of practice to be listed in, as well as bolding and firm listings.
  • We are unable to accept verifications and updates by e-mail, fax, or phone.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer attorneys are needed to speak about the Constitution to fifth and eight grade DPS students Sept. 12-16. Materials will be provided and available for pick up, with donuts and coffee, at the DBA offices on Sept. 7-9 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Interested? Please contact Carolyn Gravit.
Encourage Future Legal Minds-Help Judge Denver Mock Trials
Volunteer attorneys, law students, paralegals and community leaders are needed to score and judge the 2012 Denver Regional High School Mock Trial Tournament on Feb. 10 and 11. Denver teams will compete at the Denver City and County Building. Several timeslots are available. Breakfast/lunch provided. Interested? Please contact Carolyn Gravit.

Lawyers will leave the program with an understanding of the procedural rules and substantive laws implicated by jury selection, as well as practical considerations and strategies for effective jury selection. 40-Hour Mediation Training-Starts Monday, Aug. 15

This intensive course is taught by Judy Mares, who has worked in the conflict resolution field since 1986 as a trainer, mediator, coach, facilitator, and consultant. She mediates contract disputes, collective bargaining agreements, sexual harassment, ADA, and other EEO complaints, in addition to grievances, organizational conflicts, conflicts involving cross-cultural issues, and public policy disputes.
