 Feb 13-14 Colorado Women's Bar Association Center for Work Education & Employment (CWEE) Book Drive.

 Feb 23   17th Annual DU Public Interest Law Group (PILG) Auction. Now accepting auction donations and sponsors. For more information, email pilgsponsorship@law.du.edu.

 Feb 23   HYP at the Nuggets. Habitat for Humanity's Habitat for Young Professionals invite you to watch the Nuggets take on San Antonio Spurs. $27.50 game ticket includes food and drink voucher. Proceeds go to HYP. Click here to purchas tickets.

 March 10  HYP Spring Build Day. Saturday, March 10th, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (full day requirement) in Commerce City (address/info sent to registered participants). E-mail Ben for details or to register.

 April 26  Colorado Women's Bar Association hosts a Baby Shower to benefit underpriviledged women and children. Thursday, April 26, 6-9 p.m., at the Wine Loft, Denver. Click here for details and RSVP.

On Going Causes

  • The Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado raises money to provide free civil legal assistance to low-income families and individuals, including senior citizens, people with physical and mental disabilities, and victims of domestic violence. Private support is more important than ever as meaningful access to civil justice in Colorado is threatened by public funding cuts and smaller COLTAF grants that are further compromising a chronically-underfunded civil legal aid delivery system.

  • Conservation Easement Stewardship Make a difference in your community by volunteering for the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Deparment for the summer of 2012. Email Emily Greenwood for details.

  • Gifts of Warmth for Melissa  An organization dedicated to collecting and distributing warm clothes to cancer patients. Visit their website to find out how you can contribute.

  • Project Angel Heart  An organization committed to serving nutritious meals to improve quality of life for those coping with life-threatening illness. Make a difference by joining their volunteer team.

  • Jeffco's Action Center's Tenant/Landlord Counseling Program.  Volunteers can serve from the comfort of their own home.
