CBA Environmental Sustainability Policy

In an effort to create more sustainable law practices, the Colorado Bar Association created an Environmental Sustainability Program. This program encourages our members to pledge their commitment to environmental excellence by taking steps to reduce energy use and waste at their firm or place of business (law practice).

The CBA looked to other Bar Associations and organizations such as the American Bar Association and the Meritas Leadership Institute to find current environmental program standards. Additionally, the program utilizes Colorado resources and programs so that every law practice, regardless of the shape or size, is able to participate.

By participating in the program, together we can increase our value in our community, environment, and business.
