CBA YLD Legal Film Night CLE “Hot Coffee,” Wednesday, April 4
The CBA YLD and DBA YLD are partnering with the Denver Film Society to host a legal film night at the Denver Film Center. Volunteer to Judge 1L Oral Arguments—No Special Knowledge Required
The University of Colorado School of Law is seeking volunteers to judge the oral arguments April 6–13, which conclude its first-year appellate advocacy course. Students will argue cases before three-person panels of volunteers in one- to three-hour sessions, taking place in Denver at the Tenth Circuit, or at the law school in Boulder. The appellate question focuses on free speech rights of high school students on school grounds, and judges will be provided a bench memo and the students' briefs. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
Top 10 Reasons Your Firm Should Play Lawyers’ League Softball
Let’s face it: slow-pitch, coed softball in a relaxed league (there are no umpires, and balls and strikes are not called) is simply fun. It’s way less frustrating than golf and there are more cardio benefits. And you might get a cool trophy at season’s end. Bring your kids (or grandkids, or parents, or distant relatives, or dog) and have a good time as a family. Click here to read more.
