2013 Colorado Legal Directory—Verify Your Listing Before Sept. 15

Verification for the 2013 Colorado Legal Directory is underway. Please take the time to verify the information for your free listing in the 2013 edition of the Colorado Legal Directory, which is scheduled for release in December 2012.

Verification forms have been mailed to all attorneys with an active license and a Colorado address. If you have not received your form, please click here for an individual attorney form and here for a firm listing form.

The Denver Bar Association has temporarily shut down the online verification website due to technical issues.

Strikes for Tykes, Saturday, Nov. 3
Put on your bowling shoes and come join the DBA’s Community Action Network at Strikes for Tykes—a bowling benefit for the Children’s Outreach Project. This event will take place Saturday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elitch Lanes, located at 3826 Tennyson in Denver. Cost is $35 for adults and $20 for children (12 and under). Rebuilding Justice Award Dinner, Thursday, Oct. 11
IAALS—the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System—will host its annual award dinner on Oct. 11. The dinner will focus on innovations in legal education—Prof. James Moliterno from Washington and Lee University School of Law will be presented an award for his leadership. In addition, Jordan Furlong will speak on the changing landscape of the law and legal education.
International Credit Union Day Celebration, Oct. 15-19
During the third week of October the Legal Community Credit Union will give away raffle entries, gifts, and will host a fundraiser to benefit Credit Union’s for Kids/ Children’s Miracle Network. Partner With PALS for the 2012–13 School Year
The Democracy Education Committee’s Partner Alliance of Lawyers and Schools program is seeking volunteers or firms to adopt schools for the 2012–13 school year. PALS’ mission is to implement law-related education and volunteers into Denver Public Schools. It’s an organic, flexible program in which the volunteer seeks and fills a specific need at either Hill Middle School or Denver School of Science and Technology–Green Valley Ranch campus.
