The ABBA Civil Practice Section provides information, education and training for attorneys whose practices include civil litigation. The ABBA Civil Practice Section sponsors Continuing Legal Education programs for ABBA members. The ABBA Civil Practice Section acts as a bench-bar liaison with the courts of the Seventeenth Judicial District to promote an effective method to resolve procedural issues related to case management by making certain that attorneys are kept current with respect to the requirements of the court in the handling of civil litigation cases.
The ABBA Civil Practice Section will sponsor a Continuing Legal Education program, "Win or Lose: What You Need to Know to Preserve Your Client's Rights for Appeal," Presented by Sharlene Aitken, Esq. the presentation will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Noon, at the Adams County Government Center, Branter Gulch "A" Room, 4430 South Adams County Parkway, Brighton, Colorado. One CLE Unit will be available at no cost. A box lunch of roast beef, turkey or veggie sandwich is available for $10.00. Seating limited to first 25 registrants.
