The login process for the Colorado Bar Association was recently modified. If you previously selected the “Remember me” option for our website, you will need to login to the site the next time you visit cobar.org. Once you login again, you may select the “Stay logged in” option. If you forgot your username and/or passwords you may request them by clicking the appropriate link and following the instructions. 2014 Colorado Legal Directory—Online Verification Coming Soon!

Look for an upcoming email for the new process on how to verify your 2014 Colorado Legal Directory listing online. If you don’t receive an email, it is most likely that your law firm administrator is handling the verification. We will be sending out additional reminders and follow ups.

We hear and use the term “stressed out” all the time. But what is stress? Stress is the body’s fight-or-flight, freeze-or-faint systems at work. When you feel stressed, panicked, overloaded, overwhelmed, and anxious, your body is telling you that it is detecting a threat in the environment. The problem is that we aren’t being chased by a lion; we are stuck in rush hour traffic, or staying late at work to finish the brief, or playing referee in the middle of an argument between our children. Fifth Judicial District Announces District Court Vacancy
Deadline for Applications: no later than 4 p.m. on Sept. 4

The Fifth Judicial District Nominating Commission will meet at the Eagle County Justice Center on Sept. 27, to interview and select nominees for appointment by the governor to the office of district judge for the Fifth Judicial District (Eagle, Clear Creek, Lake, and Summit Counties). The vacancy will be created by the resignation of the Honorable R. Thomas Moorhead. The vacancy will occur on Nov. 30. Click here to read more.
