Tip of the Week From the LPM Department

My Favorite Gadget

The holidays are almost here and that means it’s time to start thinking about presents. Today’s gadget is the perfect present—inexpensive and something you’ll really use. Once you own it, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it! One of the frustrating things about traveling is trying to find an outlet for your phone, tablet, computer, etc. It seems like outlets in hotel rooms are in the most inconvenient place possible. And when you find one, there’s usually something already plugged into it. If you’re in an airport (especially DIA), outlets are even fewer and farther between.

Here’s the answer—Monster Power Outlets to Go 4 Outlet Travel Power Strip. At $9.49 it’s a steal! It’s very compact and allows you to plug in four devices. The plugs are spaced so that even bulky plugs will fit. At 6.25" X 1.25" X 1.8", it’s small enough to fit into a briefcase or purse.

Check it out on Amazon.

If you want to give a present that will get a lot of use, this fits the bill. And be sure to buy an extra one for yourself
