Rocky Mountain Survivors Center
The Rocky Mountain Survivors Center has a wide range of pro bono opportunities for attorneys interested in international, human rights and immigration law. Attorneys can handle an asylum case before the Department of Homeland Security (an interview), before the Denver Immigration Court (a trial), before the Board of Immigration Appeals (a brief but not oral argument) or before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals (which would include writing a brief and engaging in an oral argument). We would be happy to accommodate the interests of the volunteer. Our clients are asylum seekers from across the globe. We provide translators, training materials and technical assistance from our Legal Director, Regina Germain, who has more than 16 years experience in asylum and refugee law. Interested attorneys should contact Regina Germain at 303-321-3221 ext. 220 or by e-mail at rgermain@rmscdenver.org.
