Family Tree Women In Crisis

Family Tree Women In Crisis holds a Free Legal Clinic the first and third Wednesday of every month at 7pm for approximately 2.5 hours. The clinic is held in Wheat Ridge at the Family Tree Administrative Offices, and is for victims of domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault who need assistance as they proceed pro se in family law cases including, but not limited to, dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibility and civil protection orders. 

The preferred time commitment would be at minimum 2 clinics per year by an individual attorney. We also have a list of attorneys to whom we refer clients and to whom we refer clients for questions by phone.

We occasionally have opportunities for assistance with criminal cases, bankruptcy and grandparent’s rights. For such cases, having a referral attorney or law firm would be helpful.
