Larimer County Bar Association Pro Bono Program
The Larimer County Bar Association Pro Bono Program assists low-income individuals who are financially over qualified for Colorado Legal Aid, but who are still within the Federal Poverty Guidelines and unable to afford legal representation on their own. The Program does not handle bankruptcy, criminal, workers compensation, social security, personal injury or fee generating cases.
Intakes for pro bono representation are conducted on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. in Fort Collins, and on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. in Loveland (except on major holidays, the week of Thanksgiving and the Week between Christmas and New Year's).
The program also offers pro se Domestic Assistance Classes on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 3-5:00 p.m. at the Larimer County Justice Center in Fort Collins.
There is a continuing need for attorneys willing to take a pro bono case, participate in an intake or teach a pro se class. There is also a need for mentors to assist attorneys who volunteer for a pro bono case outside of their usual area of practice. To volunteer, please contact the Pro Bono Program at (970) 402-2075.
