MINUTES FROM THE FEBRUARY 10, 2004 MEETING

TREASURER’S REPORT
General Fund -- $29,677.78
Legal Aid -- $3,489.94
Raffle -- $1,763.94
CD’s -- $119,361.07.
Discussion regarding where to place the raffle funds. It was decided that the funds had to go to the scholarship fund and that general fund monies were recently used for that purpose and therefore, the general fund would be repaid with the Raffle funds.

Cathy V. showed the new Messenger and she would be sending it out via email after the meeting.: Pete Bullard provided copies of the Survey. Strong support was noted for the library. The Committee discussed publications and what the next step regarding the Survey should be. Pete will present the Survey and discuss the Library at Term Day. Pete also said that the LOIS representative would be in the library on Term Day to demonstrate the system and to answer questions.: Spring Term Day will be held on Friday, March 5, 2004. Coffee and donuts will be served from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The business meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will finish, hopefully, by 11:30 a.m. After the business meeting, a luncheon will be held at the Elks at noon. The Joe Coyte Memorial Tournament will be renewed at Horsetooth Lanes from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mason Mitchell secured free use of shoes during the bowling. The contact person will be Jed Scott.: The Committee discussed conflicts of interest with intakes. The Professionalism Committee will research this matter further.: No report.: This seminar will be held April 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Speakers will include Judge Dave Williams. The Committee discussed nominations for the Professionalism Award.: No report, no member attended this meeting.: Next meeting is February 21, 2004. Diane Peterson and Pete Bullard’s terms on the Board of Governors are over in March 2004. Zach Wilson and Bruce Fickle will replace Dianne and Pete.: Jeanne Drake gave the following information as of 1-28-04:: The January 13, 2004 minutes were approved.: Dan Muffly, Mason Mitchell, Jeanne Drake, Pete Bullard, Cathy Vlasak, Randy Starr, and Linda Miller.
