Formal Ethics Opinions in The Colorado Lawyer

The loose-leaf Colorado Ethics Handbook, 4th Ed., published by Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc., is a source for indexed CBA Formal Ethics Opinions and the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct with cross-references to the old Code of Professional Responsibility. It is highly recommended as a desk reference for all lawyers. However, attorneys can also look in back issues of The Colorado Lawyer for Formal Ethics Opinions.

[Formal Ethics Opinions are issued for advisory purposes only and are not in any way binding on the Colorado Supreme Court, the Presiding Disciplinary Judge, the Attorney Regulation Committee, or the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel and do not provide protection against disciplinary actions.]
