ABBA MAY MEETING
M
embers are encouraged to attend this months meeting. On May 30, 2003, the luncheon will be held at The Ranch Country Club, 11887 Tejon St., Westminster 303-460-9700. The cost for this buffet will be $15 per person.
We will be presenting the treasurer’s report and an update on the actions of the Board of Governors.
We need feedback from our members regarding a request by the Adams County Court Reporters to support them in fighting legislation that will severely cut their pay. Help us represent your thoughts.
Also on the agenda are elections of officers for the upcoming year and we are looking for nominations of interested parties to serve on the Board. Four positions are available and to date three people have indicated an interest. If you would like to make a difference contact Cyndy Ciancio.
To R.S.V.P. for the luncheon or indicate interest in serving on the board contact Cyndy at 303 451-0300 no later than May 28th. Hope to see you all there!
ABBA WANTS YOUR FEEDBACK
T
he Bar Association has seen many changes these past few years. We’ve changed our name expanded into Broomfield County, increased our dues, and hired a part-time executive director. The officers of the Bar Association work hard to keep the organization running. By periodically assessing the needs and expectations of our membership, we can make sure we are working in the right direction.
So, we need your feedback. If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please let us know. Just contact any of the officers, or Donna Gerace, our executive director. Your opinion is valuable!
