ADAMS COUNTY COURTHOUSE TO SPONSOR A BLOOD DRIVE
Adams County Courthouse will be sponsoring a Community Blood Drive on December 10th. Bonfils is in great need for donations do to the blood they had to destroy in the months of May and June before they tested for West Nile. The location is the Law Library on the 1st floor. All blood will replenish the blood bank for Adams County. If you are unable to donate there is a need for volunteers and goodies. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWEST MAGISTRATES
Magistrate Brian Bowen is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and the Southwestern University College of Law in Los Angeles CA. He was licensed to practice law in 1987. Since then he has been in private
Magistrate in Adams and Weld Counties as well as a Municipal Court Judge in Brighton, Commerce City, Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster. He has served as Magistrate for the Seventeenth Judicial District since September 1, 2003.
Magistrate Andre Rudolph graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska and was licensed to practice in 1994. He has served as Deputy State Public Defender and Magistrate in the Second Judicial District serving as Magistrate in the Seventeenth Judicial District since July 1, 2003.
Magistrate Merna Thane graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Creighton University School of Law in Omaha with a Juris Doctor Degree from Emory University School of Law. She served as an attorney for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., private practice in Juvenile Law and as a Guardian ad Litem. She has served as a Magistrate for the Seventeenth Judicial District since February 24, 2003.
