The Family Law Court Program ("FLC Program") at Metro Volunteer Lawyers ("MVL") helps low-income clients with simple, UNCONTESTED dissolution of marriage (divorce) and allocation of parental responsibility (custody) cases. The program operates in 4 jurisdictions every month:
Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL) is an attorney referral service that enables attorneys to provide free or low-fee legal assistance to low-income individuals and families in the metropolitan Denver area. We refer a variety of civil cases, including family law, bankruptcy, probate, immigration, consumer, landlord-tenant, and housing cases. In addition to individual client referrals, MVL also offers family law clinics that help pro se litigants prepare and file their own dissolution and custody cases in Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, and Jefferson Counties. We welcome paralegals who can assist with individual client cases and with the Family Law Court Programs. More details about our program and how you can help are available at our website, www.metrovolunteerlawyers.org. Contact information is available on the website.
