Delph Carpenter Papers Restoration Project
Colorado Bar Association - Water Law Section
The CBA Water Law Section is raising money to assist Colorado State University with the restoration of the papers of Delph Carpenter. Delph Carpenter’s work was central to the Colorado River Compact and other agreements entered into in the first half of the 20th century about Colorado water. The preservation of his papers is important to preserving our ability to fully understanding the meaning and intent of those agreements.
The section is asking that individual and/or law firms make a contribution to this important project. The section will match, on a dollar for dollar basis, donations to this effort, up to a total section contribution of $2,000. The deadline for the section to match your contributions is Tuesday, March 8, 2005. After that date the Water Law Section will send it’s contribution matching all individual donations. So, we encourage you to make your donation to this project using the information provided on the link below. Please mail a copy of your check to Colorado Bar Association at the address indicated below. And, thank you for your help in this important project.
