Casemaker 2.1 continues to exceed expectations!

Tutorials: No Webinars currently scheduled

Recent Upgrades and Fixes to Casemaker 2.1!

ATTENTION CASEMAKER USERS: The 2009 Colorado Legislative Session Laws are now fully integrated into the Colorado Revised Statutes. If you still want to view the 2009 session laws, go to prior session law on the Colorado library page.

Here's a list of updated features and some fixes that you will appreciate:

1. HTML FAQ/Manual brought in line with the PDF versions.

2. Link to the recorded training video added.

3. 'Tell Us' link added at the top of the header that provides users with a form to make suggestions and give Casemaker feedback.

4. Modified MultiState Case Law so that an error no longer appears when users forget to select a state; instead users are sent back to the search form and told to select at least one state.

5. Added a message to the sign in form that indicates that bar members must log in through the bar association and a link is provided to www.casemaker.us with a list of consortium members (which, in turn, links to the respective bar sites).

6. Updated the PDF/RTF printing to include the header material at the top of the printed document.

7. Fixed the bar message editing so that customer support can update messages for individual bars.

Performance Enhancements:

CASEcheck Updates
Casemaker’s very own version of KeyCite© or Shepard’s® is new and improved! When viewing a case, users are now able to see all cases citing the case being viewed.  A list of citing references appears on the upper right side of the screen under the CASEcheck icon when viewing a case.  Citing references are organized by category.  Clicking on the category icon will open up a new window with links to the relevant cases. Viewing a listed case will open another window containing the case, including its CASEcheck results.

MultiBook Search
Checkboxes make the MultiBook feature is now even easier to use!  When entering a search term, MultiBook automatically includes all books in that search.  To limit a search to selected books, click the book box at the top of the list to uncheck it and then select the relevant books.  Otherwise, look at the list and uncheck books that do not need to be included in the search.

Printing Improvements
Now header material is included at the top of a PDF/RTF printed document.

Performance Enhancements
Casemaker has been upgraded to ensure faster navigation and browsing.
