What is the Young Lawyers' Division?

The mission of the Young Lawyers Division ("YLD") of the Colorado Bar Association ("CBA") is to be a liaison to young lawyers of local bar associations throughout Colorado to provide public service information and assistance to communities; and to provide professional development opportunities for young lawyers practicing in Colorado. The YLD fulfills this mission by sponsoring a number of programs, which benefit young lawyers and the surrounding communities.

We hope the information and resources available on this homepage will assist young lawyers in Colorado in the practice of law and encourage the Colorado young lawyer community to participate in community service opporunities.

We welcome any thoughts or comments you have regarding our website. Please forward your thoughts or comments to any of the YLD president or any of the council members.

All are welcome to join us each month at the Young Lawyers Executive Council meetings. The meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Colorado Bar Association offices, 1900 Grant Street, 9th Floor, Denver. We welcome the attendance of anybody who is interested in simply knowing more about what we do, or is interested in becoming involved in any of our many projects.
