Elder Advisory Committee

The Colorado Bar Association Elder Advisory Committee was founded in 2005.  The Committee's mission is: To leverage the expertise and resources of the community in order to prevent and intervene in financial exploitation of the elderly by a person in a position of trust. The Committee continuously strives toward their mission by developing and providing multi-disciplinary trainings and materials for professionals about recognition, intervention, and prevention of financial exploitation of the elderly .  These trainings give professionals the ability to recognize, intervene appropriately, and work in association with other professionals in cases of financial exploitation of the elderly in order to preserve or recover exploited assets.
