Officers for the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association are elected by the membership at a general membership meeting every June. They serve a term of one year. Customarily, no officer serves more than one year in any elected position. They are uncompensated volunteers.

The Executive Director's position is a part-time, compensated position. The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of the officers.

New officers for the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association were elected in June 2015 at the Annual meeting of the bar association. The new officers are:

Practice Sections

ABBA has four practice sections.

The ABBA Civil Practice Section is chaired by Michael Grills. Mike brings over 20 years of experience handling various civil matters in courts throughout Colorado, an interest in facilitating opportunities for continuing education within the local legal community and a commitment to improving the quality of legal services provided to the public by the ABBA membership. The ABBA Criminal Practice Section is chaired by Jay Tiftickjian. Jay focuses his practice exclusively on DUI and criminal defense. He is AV® Preeminent rated in Martindale-Hubbell, listed in Colorado Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in both DUI and criminal defense, listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™, is a Life Member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and is a former Deputy District Attorney in the Seventeenth Judicial District Attorney's Office. The ABBA Family Law Section is chaired by Nate Bucar.

The ABBA Probate & Elder Law Section is co-chaired by Katrina Jones & Casey Williams.


E-Filing Requirements in Probate and Domestic Relations Cases
