The Eighteenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance recommends unanimously that Judge Kevin Sidel BE RETAINED.

Judge Sidel received his law degree from Northeastern University in 1988. He has served as County Court Judge since 1995 in Elbert County. His court sees felony, traffic, misdemeanor, and civil cases. Before being appointed as County Court Judge, he was an attorney in private practice.

Of attorneys surveyed, 100 percent recommended retaining Judge Sidel. Of litigants, court personnel, law enforcement, crime victims and jurors, 100 percent of those surveyed recommended he be retained.

Comments received were highly favorable, indicating that he is a good, honest, hard-working and compassionate judge.
