The cover photograph was taken by ­Jeffrey L. Weeks during a camping trip with his family to Parry Peak Campground. The campground is near Twin Lakes Reservoir, approximately fifteen miles south of Leadville. Weeks used a Nikon D700 camera with a 24mm lens (aperture: f/1.4; ISO: 1000) mounted on a tripod to brace the ­camera for a ten-second exposure.
