In Memoriam

Recognizing recently deceased Colorado attorneys
and members of the legal community

Recently Deceased

Robert L. Matthews
August 25, 1951–February 5, 2010

The In Memoriam section lists the name, date of birth, and date of death of recently deceased attorneys and legal professionals, as that information is available. Reader-submitted tributes of deceased attorneys and legal professionals, including those listed above, are welcomed. If multiple tributes about an individual are received, they may be consolidated. Tributes must be no longer than 250 words and should provide information about the deceased’s legal career. Photographs are welcomed and should accompany the submission. Tributes and photographs will be published as space is available and the publication schedule allows. Tributes may be edited by staff of The Colorado Lawyer. Send information and photograph to Tracy Rackauskas at tracyr@cobar.org.

The Colorado Bar Foundation (CBF) was established in 1953 and is one way to commemorate members of the legal profession. The CBF functions exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, and promotes the advancement of jurisprudence and the administration of justice in Colorado through grants. Gifts to the CBF are tax-deductible. For complete information and to become a CBF supporter, contact Dana Collier Smith at (303) 824-5318, (800) 332-6736, or dcolliersmith@cobar.org.
