I founded KNB Counsel in 2018, to address the unique legal challenges faced by small businesses and entrepreneurs in Colorado. Like my clients, I understand that creativity, adaptability, and focus are key to the success of any business looking to make bold moves and become an unbreakable force in its chosen space. These same values govern both how I practice law and how I serve my clients.

I began my legal career in 2003 at one of the oldest law firms in New York City. As a corporate attorney, I helped a wide range of businesses with formation and corporate governance, contracts and company policies, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, compliance and regulatory matters, and more.

During my years of practice, I became driven to learn everything I could about new technology and how it could help me be a better lawyer. Over time, I turned this curiosity and knowledge into a career, working in business development roles in the legal tech space. While I loved being part of such a valuable movement to modernize legal services, I missed working as an attorney. So, in 2018 I returned to the practice of law with a valuable new set of business skills, insight, and energy.

Today, I am grateful to be serving the legal needs of the Colorado small business community. I’m confident that I’ve become a better attorney and advisor because of my unique background as an experienced corporate lawyer and as a business developer for innovative companies. The best part of my job is collaborating with small business owners and entrepreneurs who have a heartfelt vision and the focus, creativity, and persistence to carry it out.

I’m a proud graduate of Georgetown University and Brooklyn Law School. I’m a dedicated supporter of the arts, currently serving as Board Member at Downtown Aurora Visual Arts Center (DAVA), where children and adolescents are provided opportunities for positive creative expression, education, and job training. In my leisure time I get lost in books, explore new restaurants, play tennis, ski, and go on adventures with my pup whenever I can.
