Eagle County Legal Advice Clinic

The Northwest Colorado Legal Services Project (“NCLSP”) runs a Legal Advice Clinic in Eagle County on the first Thursday of each month from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Beginning in 2015, it will be held at the Eagle County Courthouse, located at 885 Chambers Avenue in Eagle, Colorado. Starting in 2015, limited walk-ins will be accepted in order to expand access to the clinics.

As has historically been the case, NCLSP will ask clinic attendees to apply in advance. By having applications beforehand, all the information will be in a file for volunteer attorneys, including documents such as court papers, leases, and the like. Attorneys will receive an email prior to the Clinic with: (1) names of applicant & adverse parties so you run a prior conflict check; and (2) the number of scheduled appointments so you’ll have a better idea of your time commitment. Of course, applicants will be pre-screened to ensure they qualify for NCLSP services. Each applicant will be given a half-hour appointment, so there will be a maximum of 6 applicants seen at each Clinic.

The Clinic schedule is at the bottom of this page. If you are an attorney and want to volunteer to help with the Clinic, please submit the form below.
