Valuable Tips for Practicing in the Colorado Court of Appeals
Take advantage of this great opportunity to obtain valuable information about practicing in the Colorado Court of Appeals. Our speakers will include three Colorado Court of Appeals Judges, including the Chief Judge, Hon. Gilbert M. Román, and two of the newer members of this Court, Hon. Karl L. Schock, and Hon. Katharine E. Lum. Judges Schock and Lum will discuss their transitions to the Bench and their initial observations from a new judge's perspective. Then all three panelists will provide valuable tips for effective written and oral advocacy in their Court. This presentation, like all of the Courtroom Chats, will occur in a casual “roundtable” format in which attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in a dialogue with the presenters.
