The Court Orientation is a program geared at introducing new attorneys and attorneys new to the area to the nuts and bolts of practicing law in Denver and around Colorado. Presentations will highlight key ethical considerations for practitioners, strategies for negotiation and litigation, practical legal writing tips, common substantive issues new attorneys face, and much more. The program will feature presentations from local judges, practitioners, and legal professionals. Approximately 8 CLE credits, including two ethics, will be applied for. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center in the Court of Appeals courtroom. The cost to attend is $30 for members, $45 for non-members, and $20 for students.
