Introduction to Denver District Court’s Newest Judge, Hon. Jon J. Olafson  

 

Take advantage of this cost-efficient and great opportunity to meet Denver’s newest District Court Judge and obtain valuable insight into practicing in his courtroom. This presentation will include useful information for effectively litigating cases in Judge Olafson’s courtroom. Among other things, Judge Olafson will discuss his courtroom practices and pretrial orders, which include his discovery and discovery dispute protocols, and his gender-neutral courtroom procedural order. In addition, Judge Olafson has done extensive EDI work in private practice and has presented locally and around the country in this area. Judge Olafson will discuss some of this important work during the Chat. This presentation, like all of the Courtroom Chats, will occur in a causal “roundtable” format in which attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in a dialogue with the presenters.
