Nuts and Bolts of Litigating Protection Orders in Denver Courts

This Chat will be a great opportunity to receive valuable pointers for handling protection orders in Denver County Court and District Court from three judicial officers who frequently preside over these cases, Denver County Court Judge Theresa Spahn, Denver County Court Magistrate Arnold Beckman, and Denver District Court Magistrate Karen Hubler. Among other things, this presentation will educate attorneys about the various types of protection orders and how they differ. Our speakers will also discuss the interaction between Civil and Criminal Protection Orders. This presentation, like all of the Courtroom Chats, will occur in a casual “roundtable” format in which attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in a dialogue with the presenters.
