The CBA’s Construction Section and Young Lawyers Section are pleased to invite you to Cracking CDARA: Navigating Colorado’s Latest Construction Defect Amendments. This CLE will be led by a panel of three industry leaders who will discuss CDARA’s recent amendments, and the implications said amendments will have for future claimants and respondents. Please join us on November 7, 2025, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti’s new Denver office in the heart of downtown. A happy hour will follow the CLE from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  

 

Panelists:

Jerad West- Jerad is a partner of Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti, LLP and has been practicing law for eighteen years. Mr. West’s law practice is focused on civil litigation matters involving construction law and insurance coverage. Throughout his practice, Mr. West has represented general contractors, sureties, subcontractors, and developers in state and federal courts.    

 

Amanda Hoberg- Amanda is a partner in Woods Aitken’s Denver office and a member of the firm’s construction law and commercial litigation practice groups. Ms. Hoberg is a trusted advocate for clients navigating complex disputes, combining significant trial experience with practical, business-minded solutions.  

 

David McLain- David is a founding member of Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell, LLC, specializing in construction law and litigation throughout Colorado. With a focus on defending complex construction lawsuits, Mr. McLain represents developers, general contractors, and other construction professionals. Mr. McLain’s extensive experience includes defending some of Colorado’s largest residential construction defect cases, leading many construction professionals to seek his expertise in risk avoidance and management strategies.
