In this CLE, Jason outlines how artificial intelligence assistants are evolving from simple machines to personal confidants, and the legal issues for attorneys in areas of privilege, confidentiality, and privacy. Zenor will discuss the balance in preventing of in-home violence with privacy rights, and likely concerns and possible solutions as the technology evolves.
Jason Zenor is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication, Media and the Arts at SUNY Oswego where he teaches Communication Law courses. He has published over two dozen articles in empirical journals and law reviews on topics such as obscenity in virtual reality, NIL protection of avatars, and free speech rights of AI. He has a JD and MPA from the University of South Dakota and an MA in media studies from Syracuse University.
