Faculty:
  • Amber Vincent — Amber Vincent is a partner of Alyn-Weiss & Associates. She creates marketing plans and strategies within law firms to meet overall marketing goals and mend generational communication gaps both in and outside of a firm. Her specialty lies in coaching and developing young lawyer programs within firms looking to build a next generation. As a business coach and speaker, she offers lawyers insight and planning structured to create personal relationships with potential clients. In addition to coaching and planning, Amber has trained hundreds of lawyers and professional staff on how to use LinkedIn in addition to creating numerous website, search engine optimization and social media strategies for firms nationwide. She has coached at or spoken to numerous legal association events, including ABA Women Rainmakers, the DRI Young Lawyers, local bar associations, and several global law firm networks.
  • Marian Lee — Marian Lee is a coach, author, and consultant on lawyer career development. After graduating from DU Law School in 1988, she practiced as a commercial litigator for sixteen years at various Denver firms. Ten years ago, she joined Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck as its first Director of Professional Development. At Brownstein, she implemented in-house training programs, a mentor program, a level-based associate advancement process, and special programs focused on first year lawyers, senior associates, and new partners. She also wrote a book, “Building Your Ladder: An Associate’s Guide to Success Beyond Partnership” published by ABA in 2013. Earlier this year, Marian left Brownstein to start her own coaching and consulting practice, “Career Reinvention,” focused on helping lawyers to advance, transition, and re-design their careers.
  • Barbara Randell — Barbara Randell is the President and Founder of Future Image Group, a company dedicated to the art of developing authentic, meaningful business relationships that lead to success, both professionally and personally. In the 15 years Randell worked as a legal “headhunter”, she noticed a dramatic and alarming trend: people seemed to be losing the ability and skill to pursue, develop, and maintain interpersonal business relationships. As a lifelong student of psychology and sociology, Randell knows the importance of personal relationships is irrefutable. She has proven, though her own recruiting business, that having actual face-to-face relationships with clients is not only fulfilling, but distinctly profitable. Randell has developed a comprehensive curriculum that breaks down the mechanisms in the craft of developing relationships that allows her clients to truly separate themselves from their roughly 80 million counterparts in the millennial generation.
