The DBA YLD is excited to host the 22nd Annual Roll Out the Barrels, our holiday fundraiser supporting Metro Caring! The Roll Out the Barrels fundraiser will run from November 9 to December 31.
As Colorado's leading frontline anti-hunger organization, Metro Caring works with our community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious food while building a movement to address the root causes of hunger. Metro Caring offers innovative programming in Healthy Foods Access, Nutrition Education and Cooking Classes, ID Procurement, Urban Gardening and Agriculture, and Community Organizing and Activation.
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 while also encouraging the Denver legal community to donate their time as volunteers so they can see the true impact Metro Caring is having within the Denver community.
Please join the DBA YLD to help prepare bags of food that will be delivered to community members that are unable to come into Metro Caring. All volunteers must show proof of vaccination.
Following the volunteer event, the kick-off will continue with the DBA YLD's Barrister's After Hours Happy Hour. Come check out Metro Caring's space while enjoying drinks and appetizers and learning about the fundraiser. Even if you cannot attend the volunteer event, all are welcome and encouraged to attend the happy hour!
