Trial court issues, expert testimony, and ethical concerns to consider when faced with a potential Sorenson case. How does one decide whether to file a motion? If moving forward with a Sorenson motion, how much information should be included in the motion? Should this issue be raised with opposing counsel prior to filing a motion? One of the original lawyers involved in Sorenson, an ethics expert, and the psychologist involved in Sorenson discuss various issues to consider when determining whether or not to file a motion for the appointment of a GAL.
