What Makes A County Road?
Tuesday, September 26, 2023
12pm - 1pm
Virtual - Via Zoom
This virtual CLE will describe the different legal methods for the creation of county roads in the state of Colorado. Colorado government attorneys are often asked to help their clients prove the existence of public roadways that may or may not be on the county's primary or secondary road systems. It is therefore important to know some basics of the law regarding how public roads are created. The CBA is honored to have Weld County Attorney Bruce T. Barker share his research and experience with us regarding the creation of roads.
Presented by Bruce T. Barker
Bruce T. Barker has been the Weld County Attorney since 1993. He was formerly the Assistant Weld County Attorney from 1983 to 1993. Bruce graduated from the University of Colorado in 1979 and from the University of Colorado Law School in 1983.
Approved for 1 general CLE credit
