About the Program:
India is now the world’s most populous country, and has the fastest growing economy in Asia and one of the fastest in the world. With India now more open to foreign investment, what do U.S. lawyers need to know about doing business in India? This CLE program, featuring prominent Mumbai-based, Indian M&A lawyer, Rukshad Davar, is designed to help U.S. lawyers identify the legal issues they need to understand when advising clients who are doing business or thinking about doing business in India and Indian clients who may be contemplating doing business with U.S. partners. This is the first-ever program jointly sponsored by the CBA international Law Section and the Utah State Bar International Law Section.

About our Speaker:
Rukshad Davar is a partner in Mujmadar & Partners, where he heads the Firm’s M&A Practice. Ranked in Chambers & Partners (among other publications), Rukshad has approximately 25 years of experience in corporate/M&A, competition and tax matters, and has advised on complex domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, private equity investments, strategic investments, asset sales and purchases, slump sales and hive-offs, corporate advisory matters, income tax and tax treaty issues, and real property matters.
