Kate Miller is a Family Law Attorney at Miller Family Law, LLC. As someone who has lived many of the issues involved in divorce and child custody, Kate is passionate about helping you through this process. Kate believes that divorce does not have to destroy lives. She wants to help clients navigate this process as amicably as possible so that they may begin the healing process. Kate earned her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in Political Science and Psychology. Later she moved to Colorado and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2013. While a student attorney at the advanced civil litigation clinic at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Kate argued an employment law case in front of the Colorado Supreme Court. Prior to founding Miller Family Law, LLC, Kate worked as a Law Fellow for the Honorable Angela R. Arkin, and the Honorable Michael J. Spear, Douglas County’s lead judges handling Family Law matters. Because of her work with the Courts, she has excellent connections in the legal community. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association with special membership to the Family Law and Litigation sections. Kate is also a member of Colorado Judicial Instutite (CJI) and Metro Denver Interdiciplinary Committee (MDIC).
