Peggy Stevens is trained and experienced in a number of areas of the law.  Peggy is a 1978 graduate of the University of Colorado.  She has a bachelor's degree, with distinction, in Economics and is a lifetime member of Phi Beta Kappa.  Peggy is a 1981 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law where she won the American Jurisprudence Award for Ethics.

Peggy began practicing law in 1981, with an excellent firm in Cherry Creek, where her practice emphasized commercial and real estate litigation and complex bankruptcy.  In 1988 she moved on to become a partner in a small firm in Boulder where her practice emphasized real estate transactions, small business representation and bankruptcy.  In 1989, Peggy organized her own firm in which she was the managing partner.  There her practice emphasized family law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and the formation of new business entities.  Peggy has continued in private practice since 1989, to her training and experience, she has added extensive family law experience, estate planning and estate administration. In her 24 years of practice, her training and experience have covered a number of areas of law.  Peggy can bring this diverse experience to your legal issues to ensure all your legal needs are examined and addressed.

Peggy is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Colorado; the Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Fourth (Virginia) and Ninth (California) Circuits; and the United States District Courts for the Districts of Arizona, California, Virginia and West Virginia.

Beyond her experience as an attorney, Peggy has taught many courses and seminars over the years dealing with business law, banking law and family law.  She regularly volunteers for Project Safeguard, a charity dedicated to women who are the victims of domestic violence.  Peggy is also listed in Who's Who Among American Women and Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.
