Colorado Bar Association Offers Comprehensive Program on Alzheimer’s Disease
4.5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease.
19 million American families are traveling this path with a loved one.
Are you counseling one of these families in your practice?
Are you caregiving for a loved one in your family?
If yes, join the Bar Association for a day of comprehensive programming for legal and non-legal professionals about the issues and solutions when the diagnosis is Alzheimer’s. Program highlights include ethical, practice and financial considerations, information on diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, stages and behaviors, community resources, medical considerations, and tips for communicating with a person with dementia. Kathleen A. Negri, elder law attorney and speaker, will open the program with her moving and informational keynote speech, “Mom, Are you there? Finding a Path to Peace through Alzheimer’s.”
