Expert Judicial Panel to Kick Off IP & Technology Institute
A renowned judicial panel, with federal trial and appellate judges from across the country, will discuss trends and major developments in intellectual property litigation as part of the Fifth Annual Rocky Mountain IP & Technology Institute, May 24–25 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 1550 Court Pl. in Denver. Annually, this is the largest gathering in the region, with more than 300 IP professionals attending.
The judicial panel includes Judge Ron Clark, U.S. District Court Eastern District of Texas; Judge Edward Infante, JAMS Mediation, retired chief magistrate, judge of U.S. District Court Northern District of California; Judge Kent Jordan, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; and Judge Roderick McKelvie of Covington & Burling, LLP, retired judge of the U.S. District Court District of Delaware.
The institute will help those covering business issues gain a better understanding of IP, as it touches many other legal areas, particularly business transactions. The institute also will provide updates on 2007 copyright, trade secret and trademark law.
Industry and legal experts from around the country will present more than 30 sessions during the two-day conference. To see all of the seminars offered, visit http://www.cobar.org/cle/photos/eventpdfs/IP052407L.pdf.
