The Continental Divide Bar Association (“CDBA”) is a an organization of licensed attorneys with ties to the four counties that comprise the Colorado Fifth Judicial District. The CDBA was originally founded in 1968 and later incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 2006.

Virtual Town Halls with District Court and County Court Judges in the Fifth Judicial District

The Continental Divide Bar Association was proud to sponsor two Virtual Town Halls with Judges from the Fifth Judicial District of Colorado.  Please visit the links below to access the Town Halls, which took place on April 1, 2020 and April 17, 2020. 

April 1, 2020: Fifth Judicial District of Colorado, District Court Domestic Relations and Covid - 19 Virtual Town Hall with Chief Judge Thompson, Judge Cheroutes, Judge Owens, and Family Court Facilitator Laurie Mactavish. Moderated by Ryan Kalamaya of Kalamaya/Goscha.

April 17, 2020: Fifth Judicial District of Colorado, County Court Covid-19 Response Virtual Town Hall with County Court Judges Rachel J. Olguin-Fresquez, Edward J. Casias, Jonathan Shamis, and Cynthia J. Jones. Moderated by CDBA President Braden Angel.
