Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans is a Colorado Bar Association initiative that provides free and low-cost legal services to military veterans. Topics range from veterans’ benefits, taxes, housing, family law issues, criminal, and administrative law. Volunteers also help with veteran related cases that are referred to the CBA by veteran service agencies. Attorneys may take on a case either pro bono or, depending on the status of the client, on a “modest means” basis. If you would like to help at the legal clinics please fill out the form below to volunteer.

The CBA offers members the opportunity to join the Military & Veterans Affairs Section. The Section will serve the pro bono and related needs of returning veterans and active duty military in our community.  While many members may practice law involving military and veteran issues, many—if not most—will not.  All will share an interest in participating in community and bar association outreach to military veterans. If you are interested in joining this section, you can fill out the section membership form.
