The Consumer Protection Committee's mission is to: (1) increase the awareness among Colorado's attorneys and consumers of the state and federal laws protecting consumers; (2) enlarge the numbers of Colorado attorneys practicing consumer law on behalf of consumers; (3) enhance the competence, sophistication, and success of practitioners in Colorado who represent consumers' interests and enforce consumers' rights; (4) provide opportunities to share knowledge, experience, and expertise in the consumer law arena; and (5) give voice to the consumers' perspective on matters (such as legislation, rulemaking, or significant litigation) that may come before the CBA.
