Civil Appeals Clinic Volunteer Information:

• Provide free, limited-scope legal consultations to self-represented litigants.​
• Provide self-represented litigants individual consultations regarding the appellate process and effective self-representation.​
• Litigants must have a case or intend to file a case before the Colorado Court of Appeals or the Colorado Supreme Court. ​
• Fixed time commitment. You will meet with two litigants for up to an hour each.​
• Monthly clinic held the third Thursday of each month from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. ​
• Hybrid model – allowing you to volunteer in-person at the Ralph Carr Judicial Center or virtually via Zoom. ​
• Clinic offers training, support materials, malpractice insurance, and access to subject matter experts.
